šŸ† Ray White Rural Goulburn & Crookwell recognised for community contribution

•By Marlee Seaman

We’re incredibly proud to share that Ray White Rural Goulburn & Crookwell has taken home the Community Contribution Award at the 2026 Ray White Rural Awards for our Little Ray of Giving Fund.

The award recognises the team’s ongoing commitment to supporting local foster children and vulnerable families across the Goulburn and Crookwell regions, providing practical help when it is needed most.

What began as our annual Christmas giving campaign has grown into a year-round initiative, operating 365 days a year to respond to unexpected moments of hardship within our community.

The idea for the perpetual fund was sparked by a generous donation from the local Street Talk Car Club two years ago. Rather than simply holding the surplus funds until the following Christmas, our team saw an opportunity to create something ongoing — a fund that could provide immediate support whenever a local child or family found themselves in a difficult situation.

Through our work with local support agencies, including Marymead CatholicCare, the fund has helped provide essential items such as nappies, clothing, underwear, socks, school bags, pyjamas and other everyday necessities for children entering emergency care.

For our team, it’s about more than providing practical items. It’s about helping give children a sense of comfort, dignity and normality during what can be an incredibly difficult and uncertain time.

Receiving the Community Contribution Award is a wonderful recognition of the work that has gone into building the Little Ray of Giving Fund, but more importantly, it highlights the incredible generosity of our local community and the difference we can make when we come together. šŸ’›

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the initiative so far, and we look forward to continuing to grow the fund and its impact across our local community.
